The Reason God Established the Laws, Regulations, and Decrees
The law of the Garden of Eden, the old covenant law,
and the new covenant law established by Jesus were all set by Elohim God
to grant brilliant glory and happiness to mankind in the future.
Today, God teaches us through many prophets, including the prophet Daniel,
that departing from God’s commands and laws is considered
lawlessness, wickedness, and rebellion.
Why Does the Church of God Keep the New Covenant Law
Such as the Sabbath and the Passover?
The members of the Church of God engrave in their hearts the teachings
of Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother, who have instructed them
not to overlook even the smallest teaching of God but to act according to the Bible.
Since Jesus established the new covenant law, and even set an example of keeping it,
they observe the seven festivals in three times, including the Sabbath and the Passover.
“ ‘He will speak against the Most High and . . . try to change the set times and the laws. . . .
But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever.
Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed
over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, . . .’ ”
