God Established the Law for the Happy Future of Mankind

If we believe in the new covenant gospel, correctly understand God’s law, and keep it,
we can receive eternal life, become the royal priesthood, and inherit God’s kingdom.
Moreover, the law of God will lead us to Christ Ahnsahnghong
and New Jerusalem Heavenly Mother, guiding us to eternal salvation.

The Reason Why the Members of the Church of God Keep
the New Covenant, the Law of Christ, With All Their Hearts

The prophets, including Isaiah, tell us that the belief “We don’t need to keep God’s law”
ultimately led to many disasters on the earth. Those who keep God’s law as prescribed
will experience joy, happiness, and peace, while those who reject God’s law
will encounter disasters and curses as the fruit of their thoughts.

“Therefore hear, you nations; you who are witnesses, observe what will happen to them.
Hear, you earth: I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes,
because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law.”
Jeremiah 6:18–19

[A]nd give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen
when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.
He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
